Morning Announcements - May 14, 2021

Morning Announcements:

Anyone interested in signing up for cheerleading for the 2021-22 school year, please complete the  google form in your school email account by Monday, May 24. The new cheer coach will contact you after May 24 with meeting information.

Attention all high school and junior high students – all library books are due on Friday, May 14th. Also, if  you have a library fine, please make sure to pay that before the end of the school year.

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores.  It is now time to turn in your Student Engagement Seals form. If you are in a spring sport, you can get it signed. Please turn in anything you have completed and Mrs. Leeth will hang on to it and return it to you next year, if it is not finalized.

Any student doing College Credit Plus NOT through Northwest State, needs to meet with Mrs. Leeth before you leave for the summer.

College Credit Plus students, please return your books to Mrs. Leeth as soon as you are finished with your classes.

Students interested in high school theatre next year should attend an informational meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 18th, at 10:48 during Lancer time in the Lecture Hall. If you are unable to attend, email Mrs. Korte or Mr. Kraner.

Any current 7th grader interested in playing soccer there are forms in the HS office.

Attention 7th Graders:  There will be a cross country meeting on Friday during junior high Lancer Time in the MR. BYRUM'S ROOM for all 7th graders who are interested in running cross country in the fall.

Any 8th through 11th grade boy interested in playing golf this fall please report to Coach Hammons room during your Lancer time today.

Exam release information

Dear Parents and Students,

This year for 9th-11th grade final exams, we are conducting the following schedule:

Thursday, May 20
8:15-9:25         1st Period Exam
9:30-10:50       2nd period Exam
10:55-11:40     Lancer Time
11:40-12:20     Lunch
12:25-1:50       3rd Period Exam
1:55-3:08         6th Period Exam

Friday, May 21
8:15-9:00         HS Awards in Gym
9:00-10:10       5th Period Exam
10:15-11:25     7th Period Exam/ Senior Graduation Practice (10:00)
11:25-12:05     Lunch
12:10-1:20       4th Period Exam
1:20-3:08         Make-up Exam Time/Optional Early Release

If students in grades 9-11 are complete with their exams at 1:20 PM on Friday, May 21 with parent/guardian permission students may be released from school.  We will staff the lecture hall for any student who does not have permission to leave early or needs to ride the bus.  You are allowing your student to leave at 1:20 PM on Friday, May 21; assuming all exam and course obligations have been fulfilled.  To take advantage of this opportunity, this paper needs returned by May 19 to your LANCER TIME teacher.
